Hey guys i bought a Hd lcd 32 inch 720p Samsung Tv model number LN-T3242H 8ms response time about two weeks ago . I could play games and they would be fine no lag at all. But now whenever i play a game with alot of action with the exception of call of duty 4 it lags extremely. Halo 3 Ghost Recon 2 Gears of War all lag. First i thought it was just my internet connection as of it lagging but it lags offline as well. I wasn't even connected to xbox live and still have the problem. Someone told me maybe its my 360 but I doubt its my 360 because i hooked it up on another tv in the house and it plays fine. I also took it off of hdtv and just had it on 480i and had the same result. I have tried all the settings in the menu resetting picture settings returning to factory settings and again it doesnt help. So i guess its a defect in the tv but im not quite sure. Any ideas you guys have that may resolve this problem if you don't think its a defect your help will be appreciated thank you.

I don't think your TV is at fault, I think your video input isn't the cause….

I think it's a combination of the GAME, the choice of video output and your game's processor power….

Sounds like you covered your bases here, so i can only suggest you set the game EXACTLY to the same resolution as your TV panel is….Then try HDMI for Wideband transport of the game's video signal INTO your TV set….

That is the shortest/fastest route into your TV…uses the LEAST amount of processing IN YOUR TV.

If it lags then listen to your GAME box….hear the unit thrashing? Then it's the Drive…

BUT….you may ALSO want to check to see if your Xbox lets you select Video output signal types….

You may be sending that signal out of your gamebox in a certain compression mode that takes FOREVER for the TV to Decompress….
